There is nothing worse than waking up to fresh morning, with a good shower; no matter what part of the country you live in. Solar radiant heating system takes care of this issue with the warmth that comes up from the floor. This is possible by the use of a toasty flooring system. Technology has taken a step forward to harnessing the power of the sun in this endeavor.

Thanks to the extension of the federal solar tax credit, solar radiance is now more affordable; as an alternative for those who want to warm there houses and help the earth at the same type, by making it cooler. The basic solar radiant heating system will run the homeowner between $15 and $18 a square foot and then adding a solar hot water component, it is priced over $10,000 a job.

Ninety percent of homes in the United States are already heated by a central forced air system.  In these systems, there is duct work which carries air to the furnace; where it’s filtered and warmed.  It is then blown out through vents into rooms, throughout the house, thus serving its purpose.

For many, forced hot air heating meant having high electricity bills, drafty rooms and dry skin, but with solar radiant heating; it works a little different. The tubing is laid out under the floor and warm water is circulated in the tubing that kindly warms it. Another great feature is that its radiating heat may also be spread to the rest of the rooms.

As for its heat effectiveness, we all now that heat raises, and in turn, flows in the most efficient way to heat a room; from the bottom up. This keeps the floor always warm and when your feet are warm; your whole body gets the benefits.
