The tubing is laid out under the floor and warm water is circulated in the tubing that kindly warms it. Another great feature is that its radiating heat may also be spread to the rest of the rooms.
As for its heat effectiveness, we all now that heat raises, and in turn, flows in the most efficient way to heat a room; from the bottom up. This keeps the floor always warm and when your feet are warm; your whole body gets the benefits.
