Fine motor skills involve the movement and dexterity of hands and fingers. These skills are what allow your baby to pick up their toys and are used by your child when he turns to and manipulates his toys in his hands. The primary use of fine motor skills in everyday life is for writing. Children must be already developed some strength in your fingers to hold a pencil correctly and learn to write what is important to offer a variety of activities that promote motor development Fine.

Improved fine motor activities are those that encourage your child to manipulate a toy in his hands and fingers and, as with all educational activities should be something your child finds enjoyable. Modeling clay and plasticine to promote creativity and offer all sorts of opportunities to develop fine motor skills.
