How can I temporarily cover up my bathroom floor?
I am preparing to move into a new house, but the main bathroom floor is a strange-looking mosaic pattern false. I would cover it with carpet more than just a small bathroom, and do not know the exact dimensions from the top of my head … Since I am only renting the place, real ceramic tiles is out of the question. I have to use something that can be removed without any serious harm. So if you can think of anything that involves me not lose my deposit … answer away!
Carpet tiles are an option, however, carpeting in the bathroom is not really a good idea – the mold, smells – all that sort of thing. You can get some very notable looking for the remains of linoleum can be cut and shape for your bathroom. It need not be a perfect fit … just try to maintain some form (ie, the same border width in all). There is no need to paste the linoleum, just run a heater or hair dryer for a while until it becomes flexible and straightens. You can also paint the back of a remnant of linoleum with a color and design of your choice and seal with the same water-based finish. I have several of these linoleum "rungs of area" in my kitchen where I made an imitation marbling, and are very, but very nice.
