What does dreaming about a deceased family member?
I am distrubed about a recent dream. I dreamed I went to the bathroom to my maternal grandmother (where I grew up), and sitting on the toilet i saw a closet door in front of me with a clear glass window in the upper half of the door. behind the glass was my stepfather (who died when I was about 35, and I am 51 now) and he sat there staring at me, without emotion, as if he may have been dead eyes open. i starting trying to scream and seemed to take perhaps 30 seconds before she could scream really loud —- finally did, literally — — I woke my husband and calling his name. I woke up too, and had finally mobilized to myself down the toilet and run outside the door sitting behind. thanks.
You had a visitor. I often visited my late father in my dreams. Here is his stepfather. What I find interesting is that most psychological dream, wherever it occurs in real life, take place at the home of my paternal grandmother. Wc for me are symbols of garbage in our lives. How was your relationship with your stepfather? Rocky? Crappy? There were some unresolved issues at the time of his death?
