I would like to hang a mirror in my bathroom….

that has a pretty chain attached do it. How can I hang without a screw sticking out of the wall. Is there such a thing as “designer” studs? Does this make sense? I just don’t want the ugly screw to be visible. It will take away from the pretty mirror

If you want the “pretty chain” to be visible but dont want an “ugly plain ole screw” to be visible, just go to lowes or home depot and look at the cabinet handles. Many of them are “button shaped” and are in designer finishes like brushed nickel, chrome, oil rubbed bronze, etc. then ask about getting one with a removable screw or an extra long one, and voila! a “designer stud”

Also there are hooks for coats and such that are small enough to work in the same kind of finishes. those might be easier to anchor to the wall.
