If the shower walls floor to ceiling custom frameless glass, what material should be used for the roof?
We are building a new home (new construction) and have removed the tub and shower main bathroom, to be replaced by a custom shower. The shower will be closed with a wall to wall, floor to ceiling frameless glass door and frame. The glass will be conducted by a 12 "soffit coming down from the ceiling of 8 ', and the interior shower ceiling will be 8 'tall. The developer has suggested that ceiling tiles are planning, but will be a higher rate of quality drywall than usual. They said are not planning to ceiling tiles in case there are plumbing problems in the future (and it would be easier to get to the plumbing: A detail is that we to have a rain shower head from the ceiling between two standard heads). I'm worried that the roof was peeled and damaged by the condensation and steam …
I had the kind of shower Samer nop problem with the ceiling using a special paint too. Our plant was lower humidity, which did not put a liner down first! Furthermore, the Board concreate is the best place on the green board. Once the glass is placed in, clean well and apply a water repellent, such as X then, after each rain shower dad squeegy dry. That way you will leave water spots awarded top try and clean! Even easier to clean than tiles! Sure that is sealed and not let anyone outside! Do it yourself if needed, is fairly easy. Good luck in the new home!
