How do you keep mold from forming on a fabric shower curtain liner?
They all say they are mold-proof, but after a while there’s no stopping it. I put the liner into the wash and it cleans it really well, but the mold inevitably comes back. It’s usually down where the liner clings to the tub and is probably because it can’t dry out well there, but I can’t figure out how to solve that issue.
Is there something with which you can clean the liner or something to put on the liner to keep mold from growing?
FYI: I do keep the liner fully extended, but I wonder if that’s part of the problem because then the whole thing just clings to the wet tub and never dries well. I like the idea of pulling the liner outside the tub, but how do you keep it from dripping (even after shaking the excess water out)?
Personally I dont’ have the patience to spray Tilex on it, which you’re supposed to do all the time.
I just throw it in the wash in hot water and use bleach. Works like a charm.
