How can I paint over an old cast-iron structure (mirror)?
I would like red paint on the layer of gold, but based paint I bought oil does not seem to stick … Thank you.
Use paint Tremclad … or any other paint made of metal … tremclad sticks to anything (as I have used in many old handles and hardware) … since you have tried to paint you will need to wash it down and let it dry thoroughly before painting with tremclad.
