Does anyone else seem a little disrespectful to make food in the form of a cross?
or any other religious symbol? Santa Claus, the Easter Bunny, things as they are secular so that doesn’t really bother me, but always specific religious symbols. I’m Mormon, so do not even use crosses but I always thought it was a bit disrespectful to what the cross represents to eat. It’s kind of the same feeling you get when someone has a beach towel shape of the U.S. flag and feet are killing her. I’m not saying that I obsess on it or think we should pass laws to prevent it. It’s just a reaction visceral I get when I see it. Warren I do not feel offended by that. It was a valid explanation. I just wanted to see if anyone I have this gut reaction though, lol.
Everything depends on the cookie into reality. View a sugar cookie could be offensive, but now if its peanut butter, may have to remodel a bit before eating. beach towel that looks like a flag. hmmm if you can not hang like a banner, then its not really a flag. even worse is that if someone had a beach towel in the face of Jesus on it and you saw them wipe their ****. Now that is offensive!
