How do I prevent my wine glasses with the smell of wood from my new cabinets?
I have quality new cabinets w / glass doors that I use to wine glasses. always have the smell and taste of wood or finish. I have put spacers on doors to open a bit lightweight, but does not help.
Two things. Make sure the glasses are 100% dry before putting them in the cabinet. Put several small containers of baking soda in the cabinet to absorb odors. It seems that his carpenter uses a new type of finish. This is usually not a problem. I recommend using solid oak wood wine cabinets.
