Let's be realistic. Germs and children are best friends. Children are always putting their hands everywhere and all you can put in your hands ends in the mouth. It is an unfortunate truth that most germs are not spread through the air, but by the hand to mouth or eyes. Here are some ideas on how to keep germs out of children while trying to teach good habits for life.

Given a bath daily is a good way to get a child a clean at least once a day. One night or bath before bedtime may be preferable for a child can spend more consecutive hours a day without exposure to new germs fresh, because they are asleep in their beds. Although children do not sweat and odors develop as adults, we need a daily bath, because it is an ideal time to take very clean hands and faces, and the genital area.

After a bath or washing hands, every child should have his own towel. If a child is sick and your nose runs a bit on his towel, another child can easily pick up germs. Each family member should have their own towel and towels should be washed frequently.

Also, teach young children not to share glasses. Everyone should have the same cup to wear all day. This prevents the cup washing much, but it also helps keep children in the cup, which is yours if some cups in the cupboard are always alone. They may have a particular character of its own sippy cup, or can coordinate their tops by color. A magic marker is known to be used in cups from time to time to write the names of family members in them.

Do not let your children sit on dirty toilet seats. At home you can maintain a non-toxic cleaner in the fight against the bathroom and wipe the seat up and down several times a day with a bit of toilet paper. Be sure of non-toxic cleaner! They are there, but not all cleaning products will qualify. You do not want to protect their children from germs around and being poisoned by a common household cleaner. In public bathrooms, assuming that all toilet seats are full of germs. If there is a line of paper use, help your child not to touch the toilet with his hands in everything and always follow up with scrupulous hand washing.

Do not let your children eat meat, fish or eggs. This is not a particularly safe practice for adults either, but at least a healthy adult has the strongest defenses of the body to fight the types of germs that can occur in these raw foods. It can be difficult, but it means avoiding raw eggs not lick the cake batter or eating the cookie dough before baking. Moreover, not hesitate to get in a burger restaurant to send his son back if not fully cooked.

Teach children hand washing. Is being made foam for at least the time it takes to sing the alphabet song. Monitoring for them to wash their hands before and after eating, after using the potty, after playing outside, after school, after playing with friends and more. Parents should also be hand washing, especially after changing diapers.

Parents should also fight germs on the surface as many as they can. Give special attention to the knobs doors, toys, toilets, trash can lids, and floors. It is a good practice to remove shoes inside to reduce the filing of germs inside from outside.

Following these tips will help keep their children sick. It's about creating some healthy habits for the entire life. You can try to teach their children to keep their hands away from your mouth and face too, but keeping your hands and clean the child's environment, as discussed, is another way of waging war against germs.
