In my body fat scale, mine is up ….. Why?
23yr old here ….. I baught a new scale with a body analyizer fat 2 months ago when I started working out. My first reading is that weighed 236 pounds and 30% body fat (so I was very fat) Since then I have been in the gym 4-5x a week for 30-40 minutes of cardiovascular exercise and a good weight lifting workout. My strength gains have been strong and my body looks better and I'm up to 2 inches in waist pants (I still have a bit to go) last ngiht did my bi-weekly weigh in and my weight was 213 pounds, but my body fat recorded at 31.7%! I'm totally confused, my scale is right or that I really uncreated my body fat, do not see how that's possible … My diet has improved as well … 23yr of age here
Hello, there are many factors that can affect the readings of the scale. I find that if I'm dehydrated then the percentage of body fat rises. You must be real encouraged by the loss of inches from the waist! Definitely sounds like they are making good progress.
