Just painted my bathroom a mustard color and my vanity black. What color shower curtain would look best?

My tile floors, vanity top, shower, and toilet are all beige/bone colored. I like many different kinds of decorating styles, mostly “cozy” styles…anything except very formal. I like my rooms to look like my family actually uses them. I was leaning toward a black/cream toile shower curtain, but am thinking that this might be too formal for my tastes. Also, any suggestions for rug and towel colors and art/decor? Any help is appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Sounds like you are leaning more towards earth tones and similar colors thereof. That being said, beige/bone looks really great as a backdrop for earthy greens, browns and lighter as well as darker shades of blue. Maybe add some silver to the room in addition to help sparkle things up a bit. These combinations really tend to create quite a clean, serene and peaceful environment to relax within.
