Bathroom Corner Shelf

bedroom help!?
I have white walls. I’m not allowed to paint. I can move the bed, plastic shelves and the tv stand. other than that i have nothing else in my room, which is the problem. In the dark blue (closet) i have two shelves where i have boxes, etc on one and shoes on the other. In the pink (bathroom) i have a linen closet in the far left corner that has 6 shelves so i use that for my storage/dresser/etc. I have storage under the sink as well. in the robin’s egg (bedroom) i have 4 pieces of furnature plus a blue rubermade tote that i use as a desk for my computer and a little bean bag chair. It seems i am forever cleaning and trying to find new places for stuff..Any good organizing tips? I’m trying to keep it looking simple and uncluttered. when I first moved in here everything except my bed and tv stand could fit in my car and honestly i’d like to keep it that way…

there is a layout of the room
First of all …it sounds like you need to upgrade your furniture. Try going onto my favorite website in the whole wide web world…
Craigslist.com
you can find new and used items in basically ANY price range…they have good stuff on there and it is LOCAL. No shipping costs…you just go pick it up in your own home town/city. Choose your state………your city………….and look at the ‘For Sale’ section under furniture or whatever your looking for that day. You can even SELL stuff on there.
Okay so enough about that.
Organizing:
Declutter.
Sell or give away items that you don’t want.
Trash items no longer needed that won’t sell and cannot be given away.
Use underbed storage containers to organize and hide clutter. These are great for shoes so that you free up that precious closet space ~or~ for pictures ~or~ for winter/summer out of season clothes ~or~ for anything else that is small and will fit into these long flat storage devices. Use the stackable drawers lined up against a wall and cover then with a large piece of fabric. Line the top edge with velcro so that the cloth can just be ‘tacked’ up there to allow access to the front of the plastic drawers.
In the closet if you have hanging space that you are not using…try getting some hanging shelves or wire shelving for your closet. They come in narrow or wider versions and fit just about any space that you have.
For the walls……..
Hang photographs in assorted sized frames for a really cool look.
Take a large piece of brown paper (the type used to wrap postage boxes)…………..lay it out onto the floor. Arrange photos /pictures/ paintings onto the paper in a unique design.
Trace the frames onto the paper with a pencil.
Remove the frames…but arrange them in the same order as they were on the paper….off to the side somewhere.
Now hang the paper onto the wall using masking tape.
Put nails in the wall in the appropriate place where the pictures will hang.
Tear down the paper and hang your picture frames on the wall to make a very designer type wall arrangement of your photo frames.
