What is the best way to drill into the wall tiles in the bathroom please?
I have to drill some holes in the wall of bathroom tile, to attach a shower screen support. Could someone suggest the best preparation and execution to avoid cracking the tiles please? I am useless in the pictures yourself and want to avoid the division, if possible. Thanks
Mounting extra shelves, towel racks and other accessories in a tiled wall may seem daunting, it conjures up visions of chalk, cracked tiles that adorn your bathroom or kitchen floor. But with the right tools is quite simple. The you need: A drill with variable speed is crucial if you do not own, buy one – is an indispensable tool. Game masonry drill – bits standard too bored quickly when they tile and concrete. heavy duty tape toggle bolts are needed to prevent the tile from cracking due to buildup of pressure changes the weight distribution of what is hanging. First, mark each location for drilling a hole with an "X" made of tape – This reinforces the tile around the hole. Now, slowly drill through the tape, the tile and the wall behind until they hit the air; toggle stick through screws, attached to their accessories and you're done.
