What are the best kind of hooks shower curtain can be used to prevent wear on your shower curtain?

I currently use two shades of vinyl. A great course with grommets for a liner and recently bought a vinyl curtain to replace my one that started at the top. What kind rings I use? I was thinking of buying washers, but I've never used an eyelet tool before and if I'm wrong then. . . well. . . I'm screwed. . . lol.

Hello, washers that do a good job of extending the life of the curtain, but also doomed to failure, as all they are really doing is disseminating tension of the rings a bit with the new reinforcement of the washers. So now instead of breaking right at the top of the ring bore to tear around outside of the washer, but will take much longer to not have them. Hope this helps
