Yes, the type of bathroom you describe is available. Also, you can buy an extension that bolts between the top of the toilet bowl and seat / lid. Recxently I did, which cost $ 20.00 to $ 60.00 depending on several things. mine was $ 22.00 and not the elongated shape. I had hip surgery and was not able to use the low seat. This type extension can be installed in minutes by anyone. I bought it at Rite-Aid, many drug / dept. stores carry them.
