How to clean hard water deposits in the bathroom?
In the shower door is glass, you can see the white water marks caused by water hard. You can also see this in the chrome. I tried cleaning it with bleach, vinegar, lemon juice, waiters friend, toothpaste, laundry soap food, alcohol, hydrogen peroxide, and kaboom bathroom cleaner works. Nothing seems to move the marks. I put a lot of elbow grease on it, so and nothing seems to work. Any suggestions on this? They also seem to have a small ring in the bathroom that I can not get out. HELP!
Two products constructed for this purpose. Both stink. They both work. Look for Lime Away or CLR (which stands for Calcium, Lime, Rust) section of cleaning products grocery store or home improvement. He does not say for use in aluminum (like most showers?) Or marble, but I ignored it and have seen no harm. Test an inconspicuous place first, of course, and if you see dulling the finish, not in use. (It is absolutely safe and porcelain tile.) BTW, your shower head is probably also a bit dirty with mineral deposits. You can remove and immerse in the same product. If it does not, use a plastic bag head and tape or rubber band securely.
