What is the best way to paint on a toilet roll holder chrome?
Simply paint my private bathroom and all finishes (towel, countertops, mirror frame, light switches, power supply, air flow, fans, tiles, etc.) are all nice and white … except paper toilet, which is a silver chrome color. Really stands out and looks ugly, and I would have to match the rest of the room. Removing it is not an option, since it is quite cemented in the wall, so I'd like to paint over the chrome and white do, like everything else, but I'm not sure what the best way to do is. What kind of paint should I use? Do I need a manual? Should I sand by the owner of toilet paper first? Any advice appreciated, thanks! Warning: Can not drop. It is literally built on the wall and make a huge huge mess to remove, not to mention that you had to caulk, poly-fill, sand and repaint the entire wall if I did. I do not want to remove it, I want to paint over it. Thank you!
First paramount. Two layers if you can. Then, spray paint. I did mine with a hammer finish spray paint. It has lasted 10 years. People are surprised when I say that is painting.
