Why does my cat do this????
My 4 year old black and white cat Tom, striking of any cup, glass, or drinking vessel with water in it and spills! He refuses to drink from his dish. So anytime I go to the bathroom, run behind me and jumps into the tub and meows for me to turn on the tap for him to be available fresh water. Why not just drink water from a container as normal cats?
I can not tell you why they do, but I can tell you that one of my cats is in the same way, the other three were drinking from his plate, but has to drink from a cup. The only way he was able to stop him drinking from my glass and knock the glass was to get a plastic cup and keep it in the bathtub, where drinking water. I know it sounds strange, but its operation which is not drinking every glass in the house.
