Restaining bathroom cabinets?
I cal stain solid wood bathroom cabinets. Restaino I want them a darker finish. How do I that agree to remove old finish and guarantee the new finish looks good? Appreciate the advice in advance!
I repainted cabinets. You need to really the sand with say a 60 to 80 grains of paper first to get all the cops outside of the stain or not to drink. While most of the white sandy-looking cast that also will help. Then after all that cleaning, dust-proof a space in the back of a door or drawer to find the color you want on the white wash effect. Once you have discovered the color of the stain you want, apply a layer, followed by 2 layers of polyethylene. Lightly sand the grain to say, a 220 or 400 grit sandpaper and apply the final coat or 2 for poly.
