Is there a trick when put into clay molds for the clay does not stick to try it out???
I've never worked with clay before, but saw "Sculpey flexible push mold" that had a couple of ways that go perfect with a project I'm doing. But I always try to get to the clay paste a bit, especially at the bottom only. For some reason the parties out pretty well. Except for the stick on the bottom, it looks a bit shattered after removal.
The clay was using a "white Crayola Air Dry clay. The clay mold is said that every job. (I already had a bath in this way would use figurative) Should I try a different clay? Or is the mold that are not working properly? Any advice would be appreciated.
I do a lot of work with polymer clay. In our guild we have people who use Armorall or talcum powder, corn starch, or my favorite, just water. I have a little spray bottle and spray me a mold before use. Never sticks. Good luck, sculptor
