Do you think this green movement is a joke?
I am currently living in Japan, I have seen so many eco friendly effort. epic before G8 Summit, but see what happened? which set a target of reducing CO2 handled in 2050! and each manufacturer-friendly products echo here seem to have only one aim. get people to buy their stuff as much as I can! I'm not kidding. all say something like help save the earth to buy, buy, buy and please do not forget to buy this too! people speak very little about reuse, and "say nothing" about re-duce! People talk a lot about recycling because the big companies behind the recycling biz make money, then again buy buy buy and buy our organic product How friendly is the green movement is in your country doing? this is about government and big business pr to make money as what I see here in Japan?
He got the same problem here. Too many people act before thinking on this issue. The reduction is the first major step to solve most problems face in the industrialized world (especially in USA). The After we have reduced the re-use and more environmentally friendly alternatives. For example, only because we have to start wearing a green fuel, does not mean we should go back to 15 mpg highway for a car. I am a big proponent of capitalism, but this is one of the drawbacks. However, we, as smart consumers can save both the environment and our bank accounts if we think a bit before buying.
