Musty smell in clothes?

Well, now it's summer, I'm sweating more. Not too much, but sometimes a lot. I wear cotton shirts, but it seems that start to smell a bit stale after a few hours. Not a bad smell, just a little strange smell. I wash clothes and use a lightly scented fabric softener, but what I can do about it? I bathe daily and use deodorant. It's really only in the chest area. Maybe a bit on the back.

I have the same problem and my wife started using about 1 / 4 to 1 / 2 cup of pine cleaner in the wash, with the standard cup of laundry soap. We find this not only clothes that smell like soap or fabric softener, but it becomes very clean and have a fresh scent that lasts all day. PS She does not buy an expensive bottle or only $ 1.00 bottle is enough. The one used is called Pinal.
