When selling a house that small things make a big difference. Here's a Top 10 list for sellers. In the next newsletter we will give a ready to buy a house.
1. Odors – After odors in the home is a real deterrant to potential buyers. Be sure to give your home a great scent before projections with candles, fresh bread baking, potpouri.
2. Dirty bathrooms – Beyond cleaning, care simple things like putting a new roll of toilet paper on the spindle and replace the shower curtain. If the carpet looks worn replace those too. No have to be expensive, just well-appointed look and smell nice.
3. Cheer – Replace light bulbs that have come out, put bulbs brightest light in dark rooms and the curtains open so people inside do not like the light in a dark house, be sure to add plenty of light for home.
4. Bugs – That one word says it all! Before showing your home take the time to do some extermination either your own or professionally. Professionals usually tuck pest capture devices out of sight to keep unwanted guests from spoiling the home of her tour of prospective buyers.
5. Curb Appeal – First impressions are the most important. Take the time to fix the lawn, do a little edge, put a flower pot bright yellow door and take some time to clear their channels! This will welcome their guests.
6. Getting rid of the family – Oh, that sounds tough! While the family photos are warm and welcoming to you, take the potential buyer of the house to see their memories at home. Put all but a few family photos.
7. Animals – Some people are afraid of pets to try to take pets with you when your house is is showing. This can be difficult to make but it will allow potential buyers to really see and enjoy your home without a dog barking or a cat you want attention.
9. Staging – Consider a home staging professional. A stager can provide further advice to help give your home maximum appeal and help bring a better offer.
