1. Odors – After odors in the home is a real deterrant to potential buyers. Be sure to give your home a great scent before projections with candles, fresh bread baking, potpouri.

2. Dirty bathrooms – Beyond cleaning, care simple things like putting a new roll of toilet paper on the spindle and replace the shower curtain. If the carpet looks worn replace those too. No have to be expensive, just well-appointed look and smell nice.

7. Animals – Some people are afraid of pets to try to take pets with you when your house is is showing. This can be difficult to make but it will allow potential buyers to really see and enjoy your home without a dog barking or a cat you want attention.

9. Staging – Consider a home staging professional. A stager can provide further advice to help give your home maximum appeal and help bring a better offer.
