How do I clean the top of my Oxo Good Grips Salad Spinner?
I lost my product manual for Oxo Good Grips Salad Spinner. I'm worried about how to clean the lid. I'm afraid to dive into the water, because they seem to have a hidden spring, and the hand pump, brake and lock. I'm thinking only with a damp cloth and soap to clean, damp cloth to rinse and a Clorox wipe to clean and disinfect the outside. Does anyone have any other recommendations or, better yet, the product manual that specifies how to clean the cover? Thank you.
The whole thing is "top rack" fit for the dishwasher, so however you want to hand wash should be fine. I washed my hand and submerged, and the lid has never had water, so it must be very well built. This is an OXO after all!
